I found that the threaded portion of the base on this feeder cracked causing a leak. This happened with both of the feeders I purchased.

Leaks when the sun comes out!
This feeder leaks! Nature’s Way was quick to send replacement bottom pieces, but the same problem occurred. Must be a design flaw. The feeder held the nectar all night, but once the sun shone on it, it was empty within an hour. Heat must cause enough expansion that it is no longer leakproof. Disappointed because I really like the size!

Easy to clean, but leaks
This feeder is very easy to clean and the hummingbirds regularly feed from it. However, it leaks very badly. I will be looking for a different one.
