I purchased the farmhouse easy clean feeder. I can not comment on use with thistle seed, I only use sunflower seed in it but i never had a feeder leave nothing in the bottom of the tube like this one. It is perfectly angled letting seed flow all the way down to the ports and self cleans away any remaining debris the birds don't eat. Works better than my more expensive ones bought else where. The cardinals and chickadees along with the other winter birds are attracted to the style. I will only purchase this in the future. [Collected via promotion.]
