[Collected via promotion.] We do not get many hummingbirds at our yard in north FL, so the 2 Mason Jar feeders we have are the perfect size for us. And, as you can see in the video, this creative hummer has found the size to be perfect for hanging on and tanking up!!
[Collected via promotion.] This has become my (and the hummers!) favorite feeder; I have a dozen of them in rotation and scattered about the yard and the birds love them!
You KNOW you need to keep hummingbird feeders scrupulously clean to protect the health of the birds, but most feeders are impossible to clean thoroughly--not these! Just wipe them with a dishrag or sponge and use a small brush on the holes, then the glass part goes in the dishwasher. I use a weak bleach solution to soak the removable bee guards and get rid of any black mold that may be forming. Everything comes out fresh and ready to be put back in service.
The 4oz size is also good for keeping the food fresh; the larger feeders generally let it go bad before it was gone.
[Collected via promotion.] I'm in full hummer frenzy and needed an extra while I am washing and switching out larger feeders. The birds caught on real quick and hummed right over to this cute little feeder!!
[Submitted for promotion.] Have been using MJF1 for 3 years now, volume is perfect for 5 days syrup change, very easy to clean total surface access with hand towel, dont have to use funnel to fill, first class mason cover, great original and different desing for Himming feeder. the red flowers are starting to fade to rose but every feeder gets an extra sett you can also buy different models. SUPER PRODUCT.
We immediately had hummingbirds at our feeder but I now see ants. Is there a way to keep the ants out?
Thank you!
